Heal through homeopathy

What happens when you see a homeopath?

consultation

Your first consultation will last between one and two hours and your homeopath will ask questions about your physical, mental and emotional health, lifestyle, preferences and fears. Your responses will help classify your symptoms and determine the remedy for you.

A follow-up visit may be needed to check you have the correct remedy and that it's working as expected. Benefits should be obvious within a few days but it's not unusual to feel slightly worse before you feel better. This is known as 'the healing crisis' and is a sign the body is trying to rebalance.

Homeopathy Awareness Week 2009
14 to 21 June

sneeze

Homeopathy Awareness Week 14 to 21 June 2009 This year the focus of National Homeopathy Awareness Week is hay fever, of which 15 per cent of the population suffers. While antihistamines are widely used to treat the condition, 60 per cent of those polled in a recent survey* admit they are concerned about having to rely on them during the hay fever season. And a further 72 per cent say they would prefer a natural alternative.

To support the millions of Britons suffering from hay fever this year, natural healthcare specialist Nelsons is highlighting how homeopathic remedies can help hay fever symptoms when they happen and also aid the body’s own system of healing. For more information on how homeopathy can help hay fever and to take part in an online interactive question & answer where you can log your hay fever symptoms and find out about suggested remedies, click here.

Nelsons Pharmacy in Mayfair London will be hosting a Homeopathy and Hay Fever Open Day during Homeopathy Awareness Week to increase understanding of the benefits of homeopathy.

Visitors will be able to benefit from free one-to-one drop-in consultations on Saturday 20 June from 10am to 5pm when homeopaths will be on hand to provide expert advice on a range of ailments including allergies and hay fever – this year’s awareness week focus. There will also be of information and advice available on the day and visitors will have offered allergy testing. A free goody bag will also be given to all who attend with a 10% off voucher to spend at the pharmacy and entry into a prize draw to win a year’s worth of homeopathy consultations.
