Your first consultation will last between one and two hours and your homeopath will ask questions about your physical, mental and emotional health, lifestyle, preferences and fears. Your responses will help classify your symptoms and determine the remedy for you.
A follow-up visit may be needed to check you have the correct remedy and that it's working as expected. Benefits should be obvious within a few days but it's not unusual to feel slightly worse before you feel better. This is known as 'the healing crisis' and is a sign the body is trying to rebalance.
Homeopathy Awareness Week 2011
Homeopathy Awareness Week 14 to 21 June 2011
The UK’s Homeopathy Awareness Week takes place from 14th - 21st June 2011. It was originally founded by The Society of Homeopaths in 2000 and this year, the theme will focus on sleeplessness, which affects an estimated 77% of people in GB.
Members of the Society from around the country use this week to raise awareness of homeopathy in their local area, so look out for activities near you. There is also a national media campaign answering your homeopathy queries and we will be joined by Debra Stephenson from Bad Girls, Coronation St and The Impressions Show telling us about her experiences with homeopathy.
