This guide is not a substitute to advice from a qualified homeopath or homeopathic doctor but a reference to help in the treatment of everyday ailments. If any symptoms persist you should always consult a qualified doctor. Homeopathy can be used in conjunction with conventional medicine but it's important that both your homeopathic practitioner and conventional doctor are aware of any drugs and remedies you are taking.

Homeopathy Awareness Week 2008
14 to 21 June

sneeze

Homeopathy Awareness Week 14 to 21 June 2008 Approximately one in four of the UK population will suffer from an allergy at some point in their lives, according to the British Allergy Foundation. With millions of Britons suffering from allergies, Nelsons backed national Homeopathy Awareness Week 2008 to highlight how homeopathic remedies not only tackle the symptoms but, by helping the body's system of healing, can help stop them occurring in the first place. To support the week, Nelsons Pharmacy also hosted a ‘Homeopathy & Natural Health Open Day’ which included free one-to-one drop-in consultations on Saturday 14 June where homeopaths were on hand to provide expert advice on a range of ailments. Taster sessions of other holistic therapies included massage, health testing and reflexology, along with light refreshments and free goodie bags. Pre-booked mini consultations were also available throughout the week. Watch this space for details on Homeopathy Awareness Week 2009!”
