Homeopathy Awareness Week
14 to 21 June 2010
The UK’s Homeopathy Awareness Week takes place from 14th - 21st June 2010. It is originally founded by The Society of Homeopaths in 2000 and will be celebrating its 10th birthday this year. Homeopathy Awareness Week’s theme for 2010 is ‘women’s health’. This theme covers a wide variety of health issues that homeopathy can help with for women of all ages.
Celebrity Master Chef winner and actress Nadia Sawalha on Homeopathy Awareness Week:
"Homeopathy Awareness Week is a fantastic initiative which aims to help increase understanding of the benefits of homeopathy and how it can be used alongside conventional medicine. I want people to realise that we have choices. Everybody has the freedom to make a choice. There are genius doctors that we must use whenever we need to and there are genius homeopaths. Homeopathy works really well alongside conventional medicine and it can be extremely beneficial as a first line of defence. I always consult both my GP and my homeopath when health issues arise."
